Farzana, also known as Textbookbeauty is a Muslim British-Bangladeshi multi-disciplinary creative, focusing on makeup and beauty, is based in London. She found escapism through the people she watched online and soon realised the lack of representation within the beauty industry. Started her blog to express and share her love for all creation. Since the launch of the site in 2012, the blog has become an extension of everything she is passionate about; art and design, fashion and beauty.
Farzana explores and embraces both editorial and edgy makeup trends whilst encouraging others to also find their inner beauty while also bringing to the forefront a conversation about beauty standards, the expectation to be beautiful in modern society and self-confidence through natural and bold makeup looks.
