Watching my mum pick the embellished pieces off her sari, I wondered how I could utilize them ...  

Textures are one of my favourite things to play up when it comes to my eye makeup, glossy, glitter -  only the eyes and not my skin. Something as simple as the blue smokey eye can easily be turned into an interesting piece of art .. bhla bhla.  Little details go a long way, It can appear in all shapes and sizes, each offering a fresh take on the glitzy and gilded eye look, allowing an interesting alternative to glitter. For the eyes, I used the NYX creme colour SFX base in blue to prime the lids; to set everything in place I recently picked up some new Coloured Raine eyeshadows off the Asos website. Super inexpensive and amazing range of colours; I applied the Coloured Raine eyeshadow in Majestic to set everything in place while smoking out the outer corners. 

To stick each piece in place, I applied it with the Certifeye glitter glue, I found it was quite similar to actual PVA glue. For the Skin, I used Ordinary foundation 3.1y, Fenty match stik in Latte to conceal and to contour Fenty match stik in Truffle. I paired this look with a simple nude lip by INC.redible lip paint with the Fenty gloss bomb on top.
