Happy Valentine's day! .... or Galentine's day whatever you want to celebrate. Whether you are spending the day with your loved ones or spending the time with your girlfriends it's just another excuse to dress up!.  I wanted to create a look that was inspired by the old Hollywood glam, with that dreamy spotlight lighting. This is the sort of makeup I would wear for date night, simple glowy skin, a red lip, rosy cheeks, lashes and of course a bit of gloss on the lids. I feel it's best to stick to something you are comfortable with, your go-to, *just in case something goes wrong!*. Whether it's that romantic rosy cheeks and a bit a lip balm, or your ultra sexy smokey eyewear whatever you are happy with.

For this look, I wanted a medium coverage foundation for that super glowy skin. I mixed my Fenty foundation in 400 with the Inglot liquid highlighter in 66 to give me the ultimate dewy base. I've gone back to my matchstick concealers and I've been really enjoying using them, they are so handy and convenient to use,  also doesn't crease too much under my eyes. For the eyes, I didn't want a harsh black liner on my eyes so I opted for a brown liner. I lined and smoked out the outer corners of my eyes with a brown eyeshadow. To top everything off I caked my lashes with mascara and applied gloss on top. For the lips, I tried switching it up but ended up wearing my Fenty lip paint, it was a must.

Pretty simple.

Take care of yourself, treat yourself kindly & continue to extend the same care and support to yourself and the people around you.

How are you spending your Valentine's Day? or should we say Galentine's day?
