Colourful Halo (Tutorial)

Hey guys, I'm back with a super vibrant makeup look this new month. I've been really enjoying experimenting with colour recently, a dramatic and messy halo eye very inspired by editorial makeup I've seen. For this look I only used the BH cosmetics First Edition 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette, very pigmented, creamy shadows and a dream to work, with you can purchase this palette on beautybay.com and bhcosmetics.com.

I've created a simple step by step on how I achieved this look (it's really easy honestly!). As the main focus of this look was the eyes, I slightly blocked out my brows using a skin tone concealer. Using a spooly and simply ran the product throughout my brows until it made my brows less visible - wasn't so hard since as I don't actually have any!

1) Using a light shade of purple I began to run the colour in the inner corners of my eyes and blended it through the crease of my eyes.

2) I then went in with a deeper purple and focused it more in the inner corners of my eyes. I pushed the purple tone shadows slightly until it reached the beginning of where my brows began.  Using a clean brush, I then picked up a vibrant blue tone and applied that onto the outer corners of my eyes and blended into the crease.

3) I used a cream colour eyeshadow as a base by ' A la carte' in Bazaar first  and used a gold shimmery eyeshadow from the palette in the center of the lids - (totally forgot to photograph this stage)

Hope this inspires you to play with more colours with your makeup
this month. If you do re-create this look please tag me at +Textbookbeauty
