With the promises of warm weather and clear blue skies in London, there is a lot to love about spring. Pastel fresh colours, the ‘no makeup’ makeup looks and that ‘bed-head’hair style. It was my birthday not too long ago and I received some new makeup to play with. I've once again slowly started to introduce a lot more colour into my wardrobe especially on my face. My spring makeup look is currently packed with flushed cheeks, lots of highlighters (of course) and a bit of extra shimmer on the eyes. Still keeping my base as natural as possible, elements such as blush I think just helps brighten the skin’s complexion and compliments the highlights you use on your skin. I've popped a mixture of Mac ‘woodwinked’and the MUA Heaven and Earth palette on both lids including the bottom lash line to help brighten my eyes concentrating most of the product in the inner corners.

I used gold’s and rose gold’s instead of pinks to compliment my skin tone.  I've tried to lighten my eyebrows with the MUA Brow Define in Medium. This spring I’m leaving out the really sculpted brows and leaving them as they are. Lightening them helps soften the face a lot more leaving other features to shine through. On the lips, I’ve put on Nyx soft matte lip cream ‘Stockholm’to compliment the blush. Kept my hair with loose curls nothing too crazy something I would wear on an everyday basis. I’m trying to reduce the products I wear on an everyday basis. I encourage everyone to try and minimize your makeup products this spring to let your natural beauty shine through flaws and all.

Let me know what you are wearing this spring and where do you get your inspiration from?
