Yep, the rumours are true…Glossier is coming to the UK. Yesterday Glossier had the cutest pop-up shop in Baker street packed with all of their best sellers. Just a bit of background about the brand, Founded by Emily Weiss of Into the Gloss, Glossier is a brand for skincare-focused, beauty addicts who love natural and dewy skin.
To my fellow, beauty addicts will know how real the struggle was for these past 3 years have been without having access to the newest and coolest beauty products. Now I can finally say the beauty industry’s most coveted brand will finally be available to purchase in the UK...very soon!.
I went with my cutie Alice from Alice T on youtube and we literally had the best time ever. As soon as we walked into the room we saw the infamous glossier pink pouch right at the door with some amazing samples they kindly provided for everyone.
In the pink pouches, they included a full size of the glossier milky jelly cleanser, haloscope in quartz, boy brow in clear and a sample of the Priming Moisturizer.
You couldn't actually buy anything there which was a bit of a bummer, so I spent most of my time there swatching and applying every single product on my face. I've literally had a list of products I want from Glossier and the list continues to grow.
Cloud Paint might be one of Glossier's latest addition, but it also just might be my fave product I had tried that day. These gel based cream blushes come in four shades and give your cheeks that natural flushed look that actually makes me wonder why I've actually been skipping blush for so many years!. The cloud paint I used was 'Haze' and it was the perfect amount of pink that suited my skin tone, and I think it would be perfect for anyone with a deeper skin tone.
Boy brow was another standout product I used on the day, a little goes a long way for sure! it really helped my non-existing eyebrows pop without feeling too crispy.
I actually got a chance to meet Emily Weiss at the pop-up, I was literally so nerves to go up to her but luckily I had Alice there with me LOL. She was so lovely to speak to and she had AMAZING skin. All the girls that were working at the pop-up had amazing skin too! It's definitely that US sun and of course using Glossier products. The pop up was so well thought out and beautiful right down to the smallest details.
Glossier will be launching sometime this year so keep an eye out! I know I will.
