CANDY CRUSH

Back and playing around with new makeup, I purchased this gorgeous palette at Beautycon and I  couldn't wait to try it out. I wanted to try to utilize as many colours as possible from the palette for this look. It's not particularly festive I understand, but why not play up your eye make up with bright shadows this festive season. Be that bold bitch this Christmas - come to that Xmas party looking sweeeeeeeeet.

For the skin, I use my ultimate go-to right now, and it is the Fenty beauty foundation in 400. I have re-fallen back in love with this foundation, I have reviewed this foundation before so If you haven't seen it check it out here - FULL FACE FENTY.  This winter I found myself looking incredibly pale these days, and this shade just brings back the life and radiance into my skin, I've never had a summer and winter foundation shade and I don't plan too. To conceal, I used my beloved Nars creamy concealer in 'Caramel' and set everything with my Sacha buttercup setting powder. These three products combined continue to give me that flawless base for every makeup look I do, as well as the  Fenty match stix in 'truffle' to contour with.

For the eyes, I only used the Certifeyed 'Tropical Wonders Palette' retailing at £30. The palette is rich in pigment and has all the bold colours you will ever need in one palette. I was quite lucky to get it slightly discounted at Beautycon for £25. Although the palette it'self is very pigmented, inorder for it to truly come up as vivid on my lids  I  packed on the shadows - 2 to 3 times,  as well as using a good eyeshadow primer. I definitely feel it would make this an all-arounder palette if they had a brown shadow in there, just for that added depth as they do have a black shadow. I used 'Hibiscus' in the crease and the lower lashline, just before I placed 'Coast' on the lids I cleaned up the lids using a Nars concealer. To finish off, I lined my eyes with a mixture of 'Firefish' and 'Honeycreeper'.

For the lips, I love to repurpose my make up and try to get the most out of each product I own, I used the Fenty match stix in truffle as my lip colour, and I can honestly say it has become my new favourite browny/nude to wear. The match stick blends like a dream and is such a lovely colour against brown skin.

Also, please excuse the hair change, it was one of those days.

Would you try this look? Are you picking up this palette? Let me know!
