Over the past few years, I have taken much more interest in really looking after my skin, that includes putting a proper skin care routine together, cutting out certain food groups the works!; It was a long process and a lot of trial and error but I've finally got there!.
After having such good results with the Barefaced cleansing brush you can read my review here, I was really keen to try out the new Magnitone Wipeout cleansing cloth & was really lucky to have one sent over. (Thank you). As you may know, I don't play any games when it comes to skincare! and I am an advocate of having healthy well kept skin; so testing and adding new things into my little cleansing routine and getting a chance to put this to the test for you guys was exciting!. Now you all know how much I LOVE my Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil (check out my review) and I have to admit, I was a little sceptical at first as the cloth claims to only use water to remove ALL makeup - oil based, waterproof and not a cleanser in sight.
I wanted to put the cloth to the ultimate test, so I piled on a shit load of makeup; a thick winged liner and bold lip the works! I dipped it into some water, strained it and went in for the kill!. I always begin with my eyes, my initial thought was that I was just going to have make up smeared all over my face but surprisingly I didn't, I didn't have Panda eyes!. I did have some trouble with getting my waterproof mascara off without slightly pulling at my lashes so bare that in mind. You could definitely get away with just using this to remove makeup if you are away and forgotten your cleansers, at a friends house or a festival. For me, I would still follow up with a cleanser as I still enjoy the benefits of using a good cleanse.
