Fresh face Mama | Glossier Review

As promised a first impression review on some of the glossier products I received at the pop-up shop. Glossier had a beautiful pop-up shop in London, displaying some of their best sellers - read all about it here. I always opt for this makeup look for every day, a very natural, glowy and fresh face - with a Glossier haloscope video review yaay.

All of the products I have used for this look can all fit in a small makeup bag, so the key to this makeup look is minimal products and time efficiency. I did actually tried to film my everyday makeup look and ended up hating it, however, I did try to salvage my first impressions on the Glossier haloscope (as some of you guys requested :) hope you like it LOL.

For the skin day to day, I try to opt for a light weight foundation whenever I feel like my skin looks well. Mac 'face and body' in C6 is pretty light weight and very dewy - perfect for every day. Sometimes I would just wear concealer for my base and call it a day - this is only when my skin is really really good to me. For concealers, I go in between two really great concealers both high end and drugstore.  I use the Bobbi Brown creamy concealer kit in Golden and the L.A concealer in 'Fawn'. 

To set everything in place I've recently picked up the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless finish powder in 'Dark'. I was on the fence about buying this product for the longest time, I knew I wanted it but I didn't want to fork out a lot of money on a product that wouldn't work for my skin type. I have very dry skin and a few fine lines but I usually like to set my face for longevity but don't want to look caked. Well, this powder is so worth the hype and the price in my opinion! It honestly helps get rid of any creasing I get under my eyes which is truly amazing. 
I was surprised that the shade selection was so limited, however, I have seen a lot of dark skin Youtuber use this product and for almost all of them, it has worked beautifully on them. For lips, I've been really loving Mac lip pencil in Hover, for every day I usually brush this colour gently against my lips just so I can get a tint of colour for every day.
